Job summary

Maryland Heights Center for Behavioral Health in Maryland Heights, MO seeks an RN Shift Supervisor to lead nursing operations during the 3:00 PM–3:00 AM shift. This full-time role focuses on safe, high-quality care and hands-on leadership.

You will mentor staff, support admissions, ensure regulatory compliance, participate in audits, and help orient new hires. A graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license and CPR/BLS is required; behavioral health or geriatric experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ year of nursing experience (behavioral health or geriatric preferred).
• CPR/BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Guide nursing operations during shift to ensure safe, high-quality care.

What You’ll Do

As our Nurse Shift Supervisor, you will guide nursing operations during your assigned shift to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality care. You’ll provide hands‑on leadership, mentor staff, support admissions, maintain compliance, and foster a positive, collaborative workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing staff and provide real-time coaching and support
• Assist with patient admissions and ensure protocol accuracy
• Lead shift-change meetings and reinforce our “Better Way” principles
• Participate in quality audits and regulatory compliance efforts
• Support new hire orientation and ongoing staff development
• Manage supply needs and maintain operational readiness
• Assist with scheduling to ensure adequate coverage

What You Bring

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active, unencumbered RN license
