Job summary

Fundamental in Sumter, SC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Behavioral Health team. The RN will provide comprehensive, compassionate, and holistic care to patients within our Behavioral Health program, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes for patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN in good standing with the state.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision following Nurse Practice Act and guidelines.
• Deliver nursing care, collect data, observe, and report pertinent information.

Posted Salary Range

USD $40.00 - USD $46.00 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work under direct supervision using the state-specific Nurse Practice Act, Practice Guidelines and nursing judgment
• Deliver nursing care to patients requiring care, collecting patient data, making observations and reporting pertinent information to the care of patients
• Direct and supervise care given by other nursing staff members as needed
• Provide support and resources to patients and families in order to facilitate recovery
• Participate in quality improvement activities

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be a licensed RN in good standing with the state (as required)
• 1+ years of nursing experience in a behavioral health facility strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Excellent judgment and problem solving skills (critical thinking) coupled with the ability to work independently.
• Reliable transportation required
