Center for Behavioral Health Maryland Heights in Maryland Heights, MO is seeking a RN Shift Supervisor for a full-time 3:00 PM–3:00 AM role to lead nursing care on the shift. You will supervise nursing staff, guide admissions, ensure compliance, and foster a collaborative, patient-centered environment while maintaining safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience (behavioral health or geriatric preferred).
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee nursing staff and provide real-time coaching.
• Assist with patient admissions and ensure protocol accuracy.
• Lead shift-change meetings and reinforce quality standards.
• Participate in quality audits and regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Do
As our Nurse Shift Supervisor, you will guide nursing operations during your assigned shift to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality care. You’ll provide hands-on leadership, mentor staff, support admissions, maintain compliance, and foster a positive, collaborative workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee nursing staff and provide real-time coaching and support

Assist with patient admissions and ensure protocol accuracy

Lead shift-change meetings and reinforce our “Better Way” principles

Participate in quality audits and regulatory compliance efforts

Support new hire orientation and ongoing staff development

Manage supply needs and maintain operational readiness

Assist with scheduling to ensure adequate coverage

What You Bring

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Active, unencumbered RN license

1+ year of nursing experience (behavioral health or geriatric preferred)

CPR/BLS required
