Center for Behavioral Health Maryland Heights is hiring a Nurse Shift Supervisor for the Maryland Heights, MO location. This full-time role covers 3:00PM-3:00AM shifts and focuses on leading nursing operations to ensure safe, high-quality care.

You will mentor staff, support admissions, maintain compliance, and foster a collaborative workplace. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN license, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license and be in good standing.
• 1+ year of nursing experience in behavioral health or geriatric settings preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

What You’ll Do
As our Nurse Shift Supervisor, you will guide nursing operations during your assigned shift to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality care. You’ll provide hands-on leadership, mentor staff, support admissions, maintain compliance, and foster a positive, collaborative workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee nursing staff and provide real-time coaching and support

Assist with patient admissions and ensure protocol accuracy

Lead shift-change meetings and reinforce our “Better Way” principles

Participate in quality audits and regulatory compliance efforts

Support new hire orientation and ongoing staff development

Manage supply needs and maintain operational readiness

Assist with scheduling to ensure adequate coverage

What You Bring

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Active, unencumbered RN license

1+ year of nursing experience (behavioral health or geriatric preferred)

CPR/BLS required
