Job summary

Sunnyside Manor is seeking an RN Supervisor to direct nursing operations across the 3–11 shift. You will supervise RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and agency staff, ensuring resident-centered care and sound clinical decisions. You will communicate with residents and families with empathy and precision.

Responsibilities include rounds, care-plan oversight, incident management, and coordination of admissions and transfers. A strong regulatory knowledge base and supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold current, active RN license in New Jersey.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience; long-term care or geriatric care preferred.
• Prior charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred with demonstrated competency in assessment, delegation, emergency response, documentation, staff oversight, and resident/family communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, assign, and support RNs, LPNs, CNAs, agency staff and others based on acuity and scope of practice.
• Conduct rounds; monitor care, treatments, medications, documentation, and care-plan interventions; provide direct nursing care as needed.
• Assess changes in condition and incidents; initiate interventions and notify relevant parties.
• Use clinical judgment to address staffing and resident-care concerns; escalate issues promptly.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, emergencies, and shift handoffs with full documentation.
• Communicate with residents and families providing timely, factual updates while protecting privacy.
