Job summary

• Must be able to work 12 hours a shift.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and plan shift services.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents; provide leadership to unit staff.
• Complete and file charting and nursing records; transcribe physician orders.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop rapport with inter-departmental staff to maintain nursing services.
• Provide IV care and monitor safety with equipment and supplies.
