Job summary

Good Samaritan Woodland in Brainerd, Minnesota, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN/on-call shifts. The facility offers various shifts, weekend rotation, and incentives including differential pay and education support. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care across all resident care phases.

Requirements include graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program and an active MN RN license. A drug screen and background check are required upon offer.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA) preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license in Minnesota.
• Drug screen and pre-employment background screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care and resident education across all phases of care including prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis and treatment.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care within Nursing Practice Act and state rules.
