Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Temple-Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX is seeking a Seasonal RN for Labor and Delivery to join a fast-paced, high acuity department. The 13-week contract offers day and night shifts with a completion bonus of $1500 and full-time status at 36 hours per week.

The nurse will assess patient needs, develop care plans, and ensure safe, therapeutic environments while supporting a busy labor and delivery unit.

Qualifications

• A degree from a recognized nursing RN program.
• A minimum of 1 year's experience in Labor and Delivery Nursing.
• A valid Registered Nurse license.
• The ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Using good judgment and clinical reasoning, conduct thorough assessments following practice standards.
• Identify patient and family needs, then develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans accordingly. Make adjustments as needed.
• Creating safe, therapeutic environments for patients, families, and staff.
• Managing emotional and physical pain to promote recovery and prevent unnecessary suffering.

Baylor Scott & White Temple- Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital, Magnet Designated, and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

Full-time Seasonal Contracts For Experienced Labor And Delivery Nurses.

13- week Contract
