Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Temple is seeking an Medical ICU RN for day shift 7a–7p on a 13-week contract. The role is full-time at 36 hours per week, with a $51.00 hourly rate and a completion bonus.

You will manage patient care, assess needs, evaluate responses, and create care plans within our nursing model, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a nursing degree from a recognized program.
• Minimum 2 years ICU RN experience.
• Valid RN license and ability to obtain BLS within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients following practice standards and document findings.
• Develop and evaluate nursing care plans with adjustments as needed.
• Create safe therapeutic environments for patients, families and staff.
• Manage pain and support recovery while ensuring patient safety.

13- week Contract

Qualifications

• A degree from a recognized nursing program
• A minimum of 2 year's ICU RN experience
• A valid Registered Nurse license
• The ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment.
