Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Temple is seeking experienced ICU nurses for seasonal contracts. The Medical ICU Night Shift runs 7p-7a, with a 13-week contract and a $51.00 hourly rate plus a completion bonus.

This full-time position offers 36 hours per week and benefits. As part of Baylor Scott & White Health, you will provide patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support our mission to deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications

• A degree from a recognized nursing program.
• A minimum of 2 years ICU RN experience.
• A valid Registered Nurse license.
• Ability to obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Using good judgment and clinical reasoning, conduct thorough assessments following practice standards.
• Identify patient and family needs, then develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans accordingly. Make adjustments as needed.
• Creating safe, therapeutic environments for patients, families, and staff.
• Managing emotional and physical pain to promote recovery and prevent unnecessary suffering.

Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed multi-specialty care, teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

13- week Contract

$51.00hr and Completion bonus

Status: Full-Time, 36 hours per week

As a Seasonal RN, you align with our nursing model, manage patient care, evaluate, recognize, create, implement care plans. Monitor patient progress is also vital. Your knowledge will help patients navigate the healthcare system safely, reducing complications. You will use your expertise to understand patient needs and the healthcare environment.
