Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Temple is seeking a Seasonal ICU RN for a 13-week contract on the Day Shift (7a-7p). The position offers $51.00 per hour and a completion bonus, with status Full-Time at 36 hours per week.

The Medical Center Temple is a 636-bed teaching hospital and part of the larger Baylor Scott & White Health system. As a Seasonal RN, you will align with our nursing model, manage patient care, evaluate patient progress, and create and implement care plans.

Qualifications

• A degree from a recognized nursing program.
• A valid Registered Nurse license.
• The ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment.

Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed multi-specialty care, teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

13- week Contract

$51.00hr and Completion bonus

Status: Full-Time, 36 hours per week

Essential Functions of the Role

• Using good judgment and clinical reasoning, conduct thorough assessments following practice standards.
• Identify patient and family needs, then develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans accordingly. Make adjustments as needed.
• Creating safe, therapeutic environments for patients, families, and staff.
• Managing emotional and physical pain to promote recovery and prevent unnecessary suffering.
