Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our local staffing team in Bransford, TX. The RN will develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborate with physicians and therapists, and ensure safe, high-quality resident care in a clean environment.

The qualifications include an active RN license, at least one year of hospital experience, ability to work flexible hours, and proficiency with electronic charting. BLS is required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience.
• Flexibility to work varying hours.
• Efficient in electronic charting systems.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper resident care in a clean, safe environment.
• Develops and ensures nursing care plans and collaborates with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which guide the strategy of care.
• Collaborates with the resident and healthcare team.
• Records the administration of medication.
• Monitors assigned staff to ensure safety regulations and proper task performance.
• Follows procedures related to nursing equipment and supplies.
• Performs other duties as directed.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license in the state of Arizona.
• Prior experience as an RN in a acute rehabilatation hospital.
• The desire to care for patients in an acute care setting and act with integrity.
• The ability to work flexible hours.
• Must have 1 year hospital experience.
• Must be efficent in electronical charting system.
• BLS(required)/ACLS (preferred)
• Current TB with in a year
• Physical within 6 months
• Finger Print Card clearance (current)
