Sierra Medical Center is seeking an experienced OR RN to coordinate the Robotics Program within the Operating Room. The role focuses on supporting the robotics program, managing schedules, inventories and protocols, and ensuring patient safety in robotic procedures.

This OR RN Robotics Program Coordinator opportunity is full time, offers full benefits and a convenient schedule. We are looking for a dynamic individual who functions as the point person and educator for the Robotics Program for the facility.
Key responsibilities include providing support to the Department, Staff and physicians for the Robotics Program in the Operating Room; assisting in managing the robotic surgery schedule; maintaining orders and inventory for the robotic system; updating OR/Hospital protocols related to robotic surgery; reporting quality data to the Robotics Steering Committee; maintaining a strong clinical presence; overseeing and advising the surgical robotic staff; participating in the evaluation and competency process of the robotic staff; assisting in marketing and recruitment of physicians to the robotic program; providing direct patient care to all patient populations; addressing psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment; communicating with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed; assisting with maintenance of surgical equipment/inventory; participating in performance improvement activities; assessing operating room / procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness; obtaining supplies for individual cases and ensuring all appropriate needs of the surgical operating team are met; monitoring, positioning and assisting patient during procedure.
