Job Summary And Qualifications

The Risk Manager performs office work directly related to the hospital's legal operations and includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance to the hospital. Highly significant process and project oversight requiring sound judgement and independent hospital risk management decision making include but are not limited to: Analysis of variance reports, independent categorization of severity and prioritization for response, investigation, and follow-up in a timely manner. Utilizes data from variance reporting system and external reporting sources as appropriate to track, trend and propose education and risk reduction activities.
