Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and plan/implement/evaluate care.
• Gather data through history and physical assessment and interpret findings.
• Develop and revise the care plan and nursing actions.
• Document care and patient progress towards outcomes.
• Direct and supervise others in delegated nursing activities.
• Educate patient and family about the plan of care.
• Prepare patients for discharge, transfer, or procedures/test.
• Manage time and resources to deliver patient care.
• Administer medications and provide direct patient care.
• Lead the health care team and serve as a resource for the shift.
• Act as a preceptor for new employees.
