Job Details

• Title: RN Resource Nurse – ICU
• Sign‑on bonus: up to $20,000 eligibility
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5:30 PM
• Location: In‑person at Sovah Health – Danville
• Hourly compensation: $36.55 – $47.21

Responsibilities

• Act as primary admission nurse, leading medication reconciliation and bed‑ahead designation in the Teletracking system.
• Facilitate timely admission and discharge, coordinating with house supervisors and the quality team to remove barriers.
• Provide clinical education, identify staff training needs, and validate educational documentation.
• Maintain clinical quality initiatives and report incidents and investigation findings.
• Support team collaboration, encouraging participation in community activity programs and shared governance.
• Perform additional duties related to nursing clinical excellence as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in a VA or compact state (or pending).
• Associate’s degree in nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in clinical (cardiac or telemetry) areas preferred.
