Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited school.
• RN I: 1-1.99 years of relevant experience; RN II: 2-4.99 years; RN III: 5-9.99 years; RN IV: 10+ years.
• Current Texas RN licensure or reciprocity.
• Current BLS certification and maintained throughout employment.
• Must complete orientation within 90 days.
• Must pass EKG test within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and collects data across age groups.
• Delivers nursing care including education and discharge planning.
• Maintains infection control and safety standards.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
• Monitors patient status and interprets diagnostic tests.
• Documents vital signs and medical information.
• Adapts care plans based on patient responses.
• Performs bedside lab tests as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
