RN Resource Clinical Support Coordinator

HCA Healthcare is seeking an RN Resource Clinical Support Coordinator in Bradenton, FL. This position is a part of our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Resource Nurse supports patient-centered care by mentoring and guiding new graduate nurses and those transitioning to new specialties. The role involves providing feedback, education, and support across multiple units to ensure compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform rounds to observe and assess patient care quality and identify educational needs.
2. Provide feedback on nursing assessments, diagnoses, and care planning.
3. Assist with performing or troubleshooting specific nursing skills.
4. Maintain effective communication with staff via mobile phone.
5. Track common requests to improve orientation and education programs.
6. Participate in Rapid Response and code situations for education and support.
7. Share knowledge and foster teamwork among nursing staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• At least two years of RN experience preferred.
• Experience as a Preceptor and in leadership roles is preferred.
• Experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
