Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton is seeking a New Grad RN Resident for the 4B Rehabilitation Unit. Night shifts run 7:00 PM–7:30 AM in a 14-day stay setting, focusing on stroke and cardiac patients with dedicated mentors and a residency track system.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Participate in residency core curriculum based on learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Initiate and/ or maintain interventions to ensure safe/effective care.
• Respond to data indicating risk and take corrective action.
• Seek supervision, consultation and assistance when needed.
• Document inpatients’ medical records.
