Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Stark County invites applications for a Night Nurse Residency position. You will care for diverse surgical and medical patients on 2M Telemetry, working with a dedicated team that supports growth and career advancement.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, prioritizing needs, documenting in records, and participating in the Nurse Practice Council. RN licensure and BLS are required; new graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross
• New graduate RN OR <1 year RN experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care (acuity, preferences, resources)
• Initiate and/or maintain interventions to ensure safe/effective care
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and take corrective action
• Seek supervision or assistance when unable to perform safely
• Document in patients’ medical records
