Corpus Christi Medical Center Doctors Regional is offering a one-year RN Residency Program designed to transition students into registered nurses with hands-on experience, mentoring, and a structured series of learning experiences. The program emphasizes evidence-based practice projects and simulation-based skills assessment to build clinical confidence.

The RN Resident will join a supportive team, provide high-quality, patient-centered care under supervision, and participate in education

Formación

• BLS obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS obtained within 1 year of employment.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.
• No previous experience needed.
• Some travel may be needed for training.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
• Perform the administration of prescribed medications. Monitor patient for therapeutic response.
• Teach patients, families and caregivers about patient medical condition, treatment plan, medications and follow-up measures.
