Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS within 1 year of employment.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing to be completed before start date.
• Registered Nurse License in the state.
• No previous experience needed.
• Some travel may be needed for training, local to Kansas City metro area.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or functions as ordered by the provider and document care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic response.
• Provide prompt, proactive care and respond to patient requests.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about condition, plan, meds, and potential side effects.
