HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital invites December 2026 Galen College of Nursing graduates to join the Nurse Residency Program. This year-long program offers structured clinical training, monthly education, and mentoring to ease transition from student nurse to registered nurse.

You will work with experienced staff in a supportive learning community, participating in hands-on simulations and evidence‑based projects while delivering patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required within specified timelines.
• State RN license or Graduate Nurse status is required.
• No prior nursing experience required for this residency program.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, reporting changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as ordered; document care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic responses.
• Provide timely care by responding to patient needs and inquiries.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up steps.
