HCA Florida Northside Hospital invites December 2026 nursing graduates to join its year‑long RN Residency Program. As a Resident I Graduate Nurse you will gain hands‑on experience, be mentored by nurse educators, and transition from student nurse to registered nurse in a supportive environment.

The program offers advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship, hands‑on simulations, and an evidence‑based project.

Qualifications

• BLS obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS obtained within 1 year of employment.
• RN license or Graduate Nurse in the state.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift; report changes.
• Perform procedures and monitoring as ordered; document care timely.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Provide exceptional care; respond promptly to patient requests.
• Teach patients and families about conditions, plans, meds, and follow-up.

Skills

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

No prior experience required

Education

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
