Job summary

MultiCare Health System invites aspiring registered nurses to join the Residency RN - Transition to Practice Program. It supports new graduates and experienced RNs transitioning to hospital or new specialty areas with classroom instruction and hands-on clinical hours under expert preceptors.

You will develop clinical competence, autonomy, and a sense of purpose while delivering high-quality patient care and services in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required or obtained within five years of hire.
• RN with 15+ years of service may be considered in lieu of education agreement.
• Current RN license in Washington State or Multistate license endorsed.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP within 90 days as required by department.
• TNCC, LNPC, PEARS within 1 year as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Learn to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate, and delegate nursing functions across lifespan.
• Utilize nursing process for health teaching and care
• Function interdependently when executing a medical regimen under physician direction
• Collaborate to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
