HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital offers a Nurse Residency Program designed for December 2026 graduates to bridge from student nurse to registered nurse. The program is year-long with hands-on experience, mentorship from nurse leaders, and structured learning experiences.

Residents will receive advanced clinical training, monthly education, preceptorship, and project-based evaluation in a supportive environment within HCA’s network of care.

Qualifications

• BLS certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification obtained within 1 year of employment.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.
• No previous experience needed.
• Some travel may be needed for training.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, reporting changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider; document care.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor response, and notify provider of adverse effects.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers about conditions, plans and medications.
