Job summary
HCA Florida Citrus Hospital offers an RN Residency Program designed for December 2026 graduates. The year-long program provides hands-on experience, mentorship from nurse educators and experienced staff, and structured learning to bridge from student nurse to registered nurse.
The program emphasizes advanced clinical training, monthly education, preceptorship, and evidence-based projects. Only December graduates should apply; those already graduated are directed to the RN Residency position
Qualifications
- BLS certificate due within 30 days of employment.
- ACLS certification required within 1 year of employment.
- Registered Nurse license in the state or Graduate Nurse status.
- Any travel may be required for training.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Assist with clinical procedures and documentation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor responses.
- Provide patient and family education about conditions and treatments.
- Collaborate with care team to ensure exceptional patient experience.
