Job summary

University of Virginia is offering a Nurse Residency program in Culpeper, VA. The position is full-time days (7a-7p) with weekend rotation and includes a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

RN residents will lead the healthcare team, collaborate with physicians, and implement individualized plans of care in UVA Health's local community settings. The role emphasizes clinical excellence, patient advocacy, and strong communication with patients and families, while supporting ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and successful completion of the NCLEX required.
• 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current RN licensure in applicable state required.
• Willingness to learn and demonstrate excellent customer service, verbal and non-verbal communication techniques, interpersonal relationship skills, conflict resolution, and critical thinking and information technology skills.
