Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital offers a 12-month RN Residency program beginning in October or November 2026 designed to transition new graduates to professional nurses through education, mentorship, and blended learning experiences.

The program covers diverse clinical areas including Acute Care, Critical Care, ED, Women’s Services, OR, and more, with a focus on developing clinical judgment, communication, and peer support within a collaborative Piedmont team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program (for those graduating August 2026 or earlier).
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• BLS CPR certification (upload BLS card to application).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Utilize nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities and maintain standards of practice.
