Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Research Coordinator to manage clinical trials for the Clinical Trials Office. Responsibilities include identifying eligible patients, coordinating treatment initiation, and maintaining trial records in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

The role requires nursing licensure (RN) with 5+ years of experience and strong organizational and communication skills, working across multiple departments to ensure protocol adherence.

Qualifications

• RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
• BLS - Basic Life Support or BLS-P - Basic Life Support-Provisional (30 Days) within 30 Days

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all facets of patient involvement in clinical trials.
• Conducts all aspects of clinical trial activities following Good Clinical Practice, FDA, and Institutional guidelines.
• Reviews patient charts for eligibility and enrolls patients according to protocol.
• Communicates with physician/office staff regarding scheduling protocol requirements.
• Maintains accurate records and ensures regulatory guidelines are followed.
