Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN, ADN or nursing diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process per scope and standards.
• Performs plan of care including medication, specimens, treatments, and related care.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient and family.
• Assists with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Collaborates across disciplines for care coordination and transfers.
• Assesses education needs and provides patient/family education.
• Advocates for patient physical and emotional well-being.
