The position requires an Associate’s degree in nursing, an active RN license, CPR/BCLS certification, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing is required.
• Current registered nurse license as required by state regulations.
• CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patients and/or families and provides appropriate education.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
