Job summary

Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced ED nurse to provide professional care within the Emergency Department and coordinate care with the healthcare team.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, leadership, and adherence to professional standards of practice to ensure safe, high-quality patient care in a busy ED.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN license required; BLS and ACLS required; PALS within six months of employement.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 3 years Med-surg, Rehab or related RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in the Emergency Department and coordinates care planning.
• Provides nursing leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Delivers care based on Patient Centered Care concepts and Service Excellence standards.
• Adheres to Standards of Practice guidelines for competent, safe nursing.

The Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations will provide guidelines for the competent, safe and professional practice.

Qualifications
