Job summary

Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center in Eagle Pass, TX is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to provide professional nursing care and coordinate patient care across disciplines. You will demonstrate patient-centered care and support the healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a current Texas RN license, BLS, and ER experience; ACLS, PALS, NRP within six months and TNCC within one year are preferred. BSN is preferred. Three years ER RN experience required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP within six months of employment and TNCC within one year.
• BSN degree preferred.

The Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations will provide guidelines for the competent, safe and professional practice.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BSN is preferred.

Experience: Three years of ER Registered Nurse experience required.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and general public. Ability to calculate figures and amounts. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Provides care appropriate to the age of the patient served
