Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Somerset, KY. This role features a CVU bonus of $15,000 with a two-year commitment, day shift, full-time hours, rotating weekends, and self scheduling to balance patient care with personal priorities.

The RN will perform care interventions, document care, monitor patient conditions, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate with the care team to coordinate transfers and discharges while

Qualifications

• Plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments and other medical care activities.
• Documentation of patient care provided.
• Active monitoring and communication of patient condition to care team, physician, patient and family.
• Assistance with activities of daily living: hygiene, elimination, nutrition and ambulation.
• Collaboration across disciplines to coordinate transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support.

Responsibilities

• Advocates for patient physical and emotional well-being.

• Provides quality patient care and supports flexible shifts/units as needed.
