Job summary

Complete Care at Brick is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee daily nursing operations, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality resident care in Brick, NJ. The role requires strong clinical leadership and collaboration with physicians and families.

The position is full-time with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits; a $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered for qualified candidates in Brick, New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• Current, unencumbered New Jersey RN license is required.
• Current AHA BLS CPR certification is recommended.
• Strong leadership with 3+ years of experience in subacute/long term care.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct nursing services for residents on the unit assigned
• Review complaints and grievances made or filed by staff and make appropriate reports to the Director of Nursing as needed
• Ensure an adequate stock of medications, medical supplies, and equipment is maintained on the unit at all times
• Manage staff, make nursing/aide assignments, conduct nursing rounds throughout the shift, and provide education to staff, residents, and family members as needed
• Assist in the development of written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident
• Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines
• Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure a smooth recovery process for residents
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
