Job summary

ContinueCARE Hospital at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, TX is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a direct hire, full-time LTAC role caring for medically complex patients.

You'll provide direct nursing care, collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team, monitor progress, administer medications, educate patients and families, and advocate for long-term recovery in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure is required.
• 1+ year of acute care, ICU, or LTAC experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill or medically complex patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, administer medications and treatments, and document clinical findings.
• Educate patients and families, and advocate for long-term health and recovery.
• Maintain compliance with all policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines.
