Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa, FL seeks an experienced RN to join the Pre-op team at St. Joseph's Hospital. The successful candidate will provide care to preoperative patients, perform nursing assessments, and collaborate with the surgical team.

The role requires 2 years RN experience, BLS, and a commitment to safety and high-quality patient care. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits within a large health system.

Qualifications

• 2 years of RN experience required; at least 1 year in pre-op preferred.
• BLS certification required; RN license required.
• ACLS certification if department requires it; Nurse specialty certification preferred.

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Pre-op team in Same Day Surgery at St. Joseph's Hospital.

The RN Responsibilities Include

• Independently caring for a sub‑specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
