Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa, FL seeks an experienced RN to join the Pre-op team at St. Joseph's Hospital. The successful candidate will provide care to preoperative patients, perform nursing assessments, and collaborate with the surgical team.

The role requires 2 years RN experience, BLS, and a commitment to safety and high-quality patient care. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits within a large health system.

Qualifications

• 2 years of RN experience required; at least 1 year in pre-op preferred.
• BLS certification required; RN license required.
• ACLS certification if department requires it; Nurse specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently care for a sub-specialty group of pre-op patients using the nursing process and standards.
• Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other health team members.
• Maintain professional accountability and development per recognized standards.
• Perform role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
