Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an RN to join the Cardiac Surgical team at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, FL. The role involves caring for post‑surgical cardiac patients, following the nursing process, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include 6 months RN experience, active RN license, and BLS; ACLS is preferred. This is a full-time day shift with an every-other-weekend schedule and no on-call expectations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required.
• Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 6 months of RN experience is required.
• Active RN license and BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

RN - Registered Nurse - Cardiac Surgical

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Cardiac Surgical team at St. Joseph’s Hospital. As part of the community since 1934, St. Joseph’s Hospital has been a partner for continued health and wellness. The Cardiac Surgical unit is a PCU unit that receives post-surgical open-heart patients once they are stable from their CVICU stay.

The RN Responsibilities Include

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
