Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Nursing Administration leader to manage activities, workflow, and nursing resources for assigned units at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham. The role requires licensure as an RN in Alabama, BLS certification, and 3 years of experience with at least 1 year in a leadership capacity.

Responsibilities include staff hiring, training, development, budgeting, and implementing policies to ensure high-quality patient care in a compliant setting.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire; AHA or ARC accepted.
• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date.
• 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

  obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative
  leadership experience required.
