Job summary

Bayside Health & Rehabilitation Center in Virginia Beach is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a 60-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. Full-time and part-time shifts available (7a-7p and 7p-7a).

New grads welcome; sign-on bonus and shift differentials offered to reward experience and commitment. The RN will supervise staff, communicate patient status to management, and participate in care planning to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN license required.
• One year of nursing experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Communicates patient status to Unit Manager.

RN Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provides direct care to patients and supervises and directs nursing staff in accordance with state, federal, and MFA guidelines.

• Assists in the supervision, orientation, and training of the nursing staff. Participates in the patient care planning conference with other disciplines.

• Identifies patient goals and approaches.

RN qualifications include but are not limited to:

• Current license with Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.

• One (1) year of previous experience preferred; NEW GRADUATES welcomed.
