Job summary

Baptist Health Princeton Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro ICU. This full-time position involves three 12-hour night shifts per week (7p-7a) with Baylor/weekend plan alignment.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, age-appropriate practice, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have an approved nursing education, an active RN license, and current BLS; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC may be required for certain areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Baptist Health.
• RN licensure in the relevant state and current license.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC as applicable.
• 1 year of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Patient-Centered Care & Advocacy: Assesses patient needs, develops and revises individualized care plans, monitors progress, prioritizes care, and serves as a patient and family advocate.
• Age-Appropriate Competency: Demonstrates knowledge and skills for age-specific care, including growth and development principles, unit-specific procedures, and equipment use.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Functions as preceptor, charge nurse, unit educator, or clinician; coordinates care, delegates appropriately, and communicates with interdisciplinary teams.
• Professional Role Modeling: Supports hospital and nursing goals, practices compassionate care, maintains legal and ethical standards, and fosters respectful relationships.
