Job summary

Firelands Health in Bellevue, OH is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to join our team. You will implement the nursing process, conduct patient assessments, and educate patients and families to ensure safe discharge and continuity of care.

Required are an Ohio RN license and CPR prior to patient care; ACLS and Basic EKG are required or obtained within 6 months of hire. Strong organization, customer service, and computer skills support a patient-centered, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Ohio RN license and CPR prior to patient care experience.
• Current ACLS and Basic EKG required or obtained within 6 months of hire and remain current.
• Excellent organizational, customer service skills, and computer proficiency are a must.

Responsibilities

• Implements the nursing process with patients including carrying out physicians orders regarding diet, medication and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care.
• Performs assessments; monitors and ensures quality care through observation and evaluation; documents nursing interventions on care plans, medical records, and reports findings to physicians as needed.
• Instructs patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments, nursing plans and related patient care directed towards a safe discharge.
• Responds to emergencies; maintains availability of medications and supplies; ensures cleanliness of equipment and environment.
• Demonstrate service excellence and acts as an ambassador and advocate for FRMC.
