Mount Carmel East Labor and Delivery is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team in Columbus, Ohio. The RN will provide patient-centered care within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and deliver care using the Nursing Process in alignment with Mount Carmel Health System policies.
Responsibilities include patient assessments, assisting with examinations, medication administration, education of patients and families, and documentation.

The Mount Carmel East Labor and Delivery has 12 labor beds, 5 high risk antepartum beds, and 5 triage beds. There are 2 OR rooms with a 2 bed recovery room. The types of patients you will see will be high risk labors, scheduled cesareans, unscheduled or emergent cesareans, trauma patients and antepartum patients.
The Registered Nurse (RN), within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. The Staff RN is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of Mount Carmel Health System.
