The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the nursing care provided to patients. This nurse leads the nursing team in care delivery as directed by the attending physician and in collaboration with other healthcare providers, in accordance with ProMedica Acute Care Hospitals' policies and philosophy. Actively participates in creating an environment that fosters satisfaction among patients, families, physicians, and employees. Ensures decisions are based on patient and family-centered care, utilizing evidence-based practices focused on safety, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
Scope of Service: The RN provides nursing care to individuals and groups requiring specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills from biological, physical, behavioral, social, spiritual/cultural, and nursing sciences. The RN practices within the full scope of nursing as defined by the Board of Nursing for their state, complying with hospital and accrediting body standards.
