The 311-bed facility includes the Hickman Cancer Center, ER Trauma Center, and regional inpatient adult psychiatric services, along with the Goerlich Center (residence for patients with Alzheimer’s and Dementia) and the Ebeid Center (hospice).
The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for a group of patients. They lead nursing team members in care delivery as directed by the attending physician and in collaboration with other healthcare providers, fostering an environment of satisfaction for patients, families, physicians, and staff. The nurse ensures decisions are based on patient and family-centered care, evidence-based practices, safety, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
The Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care based on biological, physical, behavioral, social, spiritual/cultural, and nursing sciences. They practice within the full scope of nursing practice as defined by the Board of Nursing in their state and comply with hospital accreditation standards.
