Amerita, the infusion clinic in Denver, is seeking a Registered Nurse to support our specialty infusion program. This role involves administering IV therapies, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and delivering high-quality patient care outside the hospital setting.

The ideal candidate holds a nursing license, has at least one year of RN experience, and prefers some infusion/IV therapy background. The position follows a 8:30am–5:00pm schedule and offers full-time benefits in a dynamic

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous infusion experience preferred.
• Extensive IV therapy experience preferred.

• Adheres to policies and procedures addressing the scope of infusion nursing services, state laws and regulations.
• Adheres to INS and IgNS standards and CDC guidelines; follows ethics per American Nurses Association.
• Collaborates with Mosaic staff to develop and monitor goals of patients' therapies.
• Assess all patients assigned and establish the Plan of Care.
• Educates patients and caregivers.
• Evaluates progress toward goals and makes recommendations to physicians for changes in the Plan of Care.
• Completes comprehensive documentation of infusion patients.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to policies and procedures addressing the scope of services outlined in Infusion nursing services, state laws and regulations
• Adheres to INS and IgNS standards of practice, CDC guidelines, scope and standards of practice, and code of ethics as defined by American Nurses Association
• Collaborates with Mosaic staff to develop and monitor goals of patients' therapies
• Assess all patients assigned and establishes and implements the Plan of Care
• Educates patients and caregivers
• Evaluates progress toward goals and makes recommendations to physicians for changes in the Plan of Care based on patients' needs
• Completes comprehensive documentation of infusion patients

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• * Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• * Previous infusion experience preferred.
• * Extensive experience in IV therapy preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• * Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice.
• * Current CPR certification.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• * Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• * Effective verbal and written communication skills.

**To perform this position will require frequently sitting, standing, walking typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occasionally bending, reaching, climbing (stairs/ladders), crouching and stooping. The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull 21-30 lbs and lift/carry 1-10 lbs**
