Amerita is seeking an infusion nurse for our Centennial, CO infusion clinic to deliver advanced IV therapies and coordinate patient care within a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes adherence to nursing standards, patient education, and precise documentation while supporting a patient-focused, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• RN license in state(s) of practice.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• CPR certification required or current.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to infusion nursing policies and applicable laws.
• Collaborates with Mosaic staff to manage patient therapies.
• Assesses patients, develops and implements Plan of Care.
• Educates patients and caregivers.
• Evaluates progress and recommends changes to physicians.
• Completes comprehensive documentation of infusion patients.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to policies and procedures addressing the scope of services outlined in Infusion nursing services, state laws and regulations
• Adheres to INS and IgNS standards of practice, CDC guidelines, scope and standards of practice, and code of ethics as defined by American Nurses Association
• Collaborates with Mosaic staff to develop and monitor goals of patients’ therapies
• Assesses all patients assigned and establishes and implements the Plan of Care
• Educates patients and caregivers
• Evaluates progress toward goals and makes recommendations to physicians for changes in the Plan of Care based on patients’ needs
• Completes comprehensive documentation of infusion patients

Education/Experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous infusion experience preferred.
• Extensive experience in IV therapy preferred.

License/Certification/Other Special Requirements

• Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR certification.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

**To perform this position will require frequently sitting, standing, walking typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occasionally bending, reaching, climbing (stairs/ladders), crouching and stooping. The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull 21-30 lbs and lift/carry 1-10 lbs**
