Job summary

Amerita, part of the BrightSpring Health family, seeks a dedicated infusion nurse to care for patients in our outpatient infusion center in Kingman, AZ. The role supports infusion therapies including IV antibiotics, immunoglobulin therapy, iron replacement, and more, coordinating with doctors for treatment plans and ensuring patient comfort and safety during infusions.

The position offers a weekday, weekend, and evening schedule in partnership with Kingman Regional Medical Center, with a focus

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous infusion experience preferred.
• Extensive experience in IV therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to policies addressing infusion nursing scope and state regulations.
• Collaborates with Mosaic staff to monitor patient therapy goals.
• Assesses patients and implements the Plan of Care.
• Educates patients and caregivers.
• Evaluates progress and suggests changes to physicians.
• Completes comprehensive documentation of infusion patients.

This position is in partnership with Kingman Regional Medical Center in their Outpatient Infusion Center, all candidates must not currently be employed by KRMC but do need to be a hirable status due to facility credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to policies and procedures addressing the scope of services outlined in Infusion nursing services, state laws and regulations
• Adheres to INS and IgNS standards of practice, CDC guidelines, scope and standards of practice, and code of ethics as defined by American Nurses Association
• Collaborates with Mosaic staff to develop and monitor goals of patients’ therapies
• Assesses all patients assigned and establishes and implements the Plan of Care
• Educates patients and caregivers
• Evaluates progress toward goals and makes recommendations to physicians for changes in the Plan of Care based on patients’ needs
• Completes comprehensive documentation of infusion patients

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous infusion experience preferred.
• Extensive experience in IV therapy preferred.

License/Certification/Special Requirements:

• Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR certification.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

To perform this position will require frequently sitting, standing, walking typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occasionally bending, reaching, climbing (stairs/ladders), crouching and stooping. The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull 21-30 lbs and lift/carry 1-10 lbs
